Scoil Mhuire Monivea Talent Show🎭

The Students Council organised and ran this years Talent Show on February 13th. Well done to all the acts who performed on the day and to our wonderful audience who kept the show on the road!

Art Work September/ October 2022

We have been doing some beautiful art work since September. Look at our 'Autumn' pictures, our 'Sunflowers' and our 'Halloween Masks'.

 

Maths Week

 We really enjoyed Maths week in 1st and 2nd class. 

We did lots of different maths activities.

We looked for patterns in our classroom and learned about odd and even numbers.

We went on a Maths Trail. We found maths being used in lots of different ways around our classroom and our school.

We had great fun playing some maths games. Some children even created their own maths games.

The children worked so hard on their entries into the 'Maths Art' competition. The standard was so high. We had great fun during Maths Week 2020.

Autumn

 We have been learning all about autumn. We walked to the village to find some autumn leaves.

All the different colours of the leaves were beautiful. 

When we got back to the classroom we used the leaves we collected for art. We did some leaf printing using autumn colours.

We are all well settled back into school here in 1st and 2nd class.

We are all working hard and enjoying being back with all our friends!
