Fun Friday with some wonderful grandparents

On Friday February 9th the children had some very special visitors.
To mark Grandparents week we joined  the Junior Infants in  welcoming  Heidi's granny and granddad to the school.Heidi is in Miss Slattery's Junior Infant class. Her granny and granddad  shared their interest I r.acing pigeons
 The children and the teachers  were fascinated by the birds and Heidi's Grandad explained to us all about the care and training involved.

Later in the day the Junior Infants joined us in welcoming Holly's granddad.
Holly is in Senior Infants and her granddad known as Gus shared with us his interest in being active and healthy and his love for boxing.
