One of Emily's favourite books was given to her by her granny. It was a book of Fairy Tales and her favourite character from the book is called Honeysuckle and the Bees.
Ellen dressed up as Rapunzel and Ava as Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
Holly told us that some of her favourite books were from the Mr. Men series and she particularly liked "The Princess" and dressed up as Rose from the book.
Mollie brought in a beautiful book which belonged to her mum .She dressed up as Alice from that wonderful book by Lewis Carroll - Alice in Wonderland
Jack told the class that he likes comics and his favourite character is Spiderman.
Aimee dressed up as Jo Jo and told us that her mum gave her the book and Lena dressed up as Elsa from Frozen and told us all about the beautiful princess with special powers
The fairy tale classics were popular..Leah came as the beautiful princess Cinderella and Ellen as Rap
Danny came as a boy called Adam a character from a book called "Adam's Cloud"
There was a sporting theme with many of the boys, James ,Jonathan and Cian as soccer characters and Adam as a hurling hero .Michael came dressed up as the Black Panther and Nathan who has an interest in fast cars and racing cars dressed up as Lightning McQueen and told us all about his Disney Storybook collection.
It was wonderful to hear about all the characters and that there is such a great interest in books and reading.
